What is

Mahon Point 2.0?

We are proud to embark on a new and exciting phase. Final planning permission has now been granted by Cork City Council for our landmark mixed-use development, which will create a stunning new community, residential and commercial space for the local and wider Cork communities to enjoy.

Keep up to date on progress
As is fitting of our vibrant and growing city suburb of Mahon, our plans are future focussed and environmentally friendly and will include a wide range of amenities for the local community as well as the wider Cork region to enjoy, now and into the future.

The attractive development has been planned to have a sensitive impact on the local area and is inspired by the 15-minute city concept and is backed up by an extensive Environmental Impact Assessment, carried out by external consultants.

The mixed-use development will include improved cycle and pedestrian ways, large scale civic spaces and amenities for the local community. There will be a mix of demand-led new apartments, made up of one, two, three bed and family orientated homes. There will also be additional demand-led retail spaces, a multistorey car park and an office block.

Sustainable Transport

There is a major focus on improved cycle and pedestrian ways and we continue to work with Cork City Council and other key stakeholders to ensure public transport plans are accommodated in our plans now and into the future. These include LRT (Light Rail Transit) facilities and Bus Connects initiatives which will facilitate increased connectivity for the local community to the public transport network locally and nationally. There will be a multistorey car park which will cater for 704 cars, which will be replacing one of the existing car parks.
